YOUR DATA

Privacy & feedback.

Better 2048 has no ads, analytics, tracking, or player accounts. Your games, scores, challenges, sound preference, feedback drafts and recent diagnostic log stay on your device. Playing the game requires no Internet connection.

Feedback is your choice

Nothing is sent until you tap Send feedback. Each report contains its type, your message, app version and a random report ID used to prevent duplicate submissions. Email, Discord and Telegram details are optional. Leave them blank to send without contact details.

Three separate switches let you include device diagnostics (device type, OS version, screen dimensions, language, sound preference, Reduce Motion, power and thermal state), game state (current board, score, moves, best score, challenge progress and high-score summary), or a recent app log containing up to 200 events from the last 24 hours, such as app lifecycle, save timing, menu transitions, audio errors and performance warnings, plus up to 50 recent moves from the current app session (direction, time and points gained). The local log is bounded to 40 KB and is never uploaded automatically. Feedback messages, contact details and board contents do not enter the app event log. All switches start off. No advertising identifier, account credentials, browsing history or location is collected.

Storage and access

Submitted feedback is stored on the developer's server and accessible only through a private admin inbox protected by one registered passkey. Reports are retained while needed to investigate and improve the app. If you provide contact details, the developer may use them to discuss your report. To request removal, submit feedback with the report ID and a contact method.

A short-lived, in-memory hash of the requesting IP address limits abuse. The report does not store the IP address. Cloudflare and the hosting infrastructure process normal connection data to deliver and protect the service. This website uses no third-party analytics or advertising scripts.

Ratings and sharing

Rate opens Apple's App Store. Review prompts are controlled by Apple. Sharing a high-score image opens the system share sheet; you choose whether and where to send it. Apple and your chosen sharing service handle those interactions under their own policies.
